Union Investment given A+ rating by PRI

The United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) initiative has awarded Union Investment its top mark of A+ in recognition of the company's overarching approach to responsible investment. The assessment of the company looked at indicators such as guiding principles, aims and practices.

UniInstitutional IMMUNO Nachhaltigkeit has been awarded the FNG Label

UniInstitutional IMMUNO Nachhaltigkeit has been given two out of three stars for its particularly sophisticated and comprehensive sustainability strategy. It scored extra points for institutional credibility and dialogue strategies.

Mutual funds that have been awarded the Sustainable Investment Forum (FNG) Label comply with the quality standard it has developed for sustainable investments in the German-speaking countries. To achieve certification, funds must adopt a consistent and transparent approach to sustainability, which the independent auditor Novethic checks has been applied.

The quality standard includes the following minimum requirements:

  • Transparent and straightforward presentation of the fund's sustainability strategy in the context of the European SRI Transparency Code and the FNG Sustainability Profile
  • Exclusion of nuclear power, armaments and weapons
  • Exclusion of companies in breach of the UN Global Compact principles

At least 90 per cent of the fund's portfolio is audited according to sustainability criteria (social and environmental accountability, good corporate governance).
